Full-stack developer, part-time problem untangler.
Hey, I'm Ranjan. For the last three years, I've been turning "can we just…" into software that actually ships. Right now I'm building SmarDen Network, an ERP platform for the company I work at, which works on several different microservices.
An ERP touches almost everything a business does: inventory, invoices, people, and that one spreadsheet nobody admits to owning. Building one has taught me to think in systems: how data flows between different microserves, where it breaks, the system design of it so it doesn't break at 2 a.m. A lot of my work is forward-deployed, which means sitting with the people who actually use the software, finding the real problem behind the feature request, and shipping the fix that helps.
Most days that means TypeScript, React and Next.js up front, Node.js and PostgreSQL behind it, and whatever else the problem calls for. I'm happiest when a task is slightly too hard for me, because that's usually where the learning is. I'm always looking for the next challenge that pushes me forward, and I try to leave the people and codebases around me a little better than I found them.
